Dr Anand gained a B.A. Honours Degree in Mathematics from Delhi University before coming to the UK to complete a M.Sc. in Engineering Computation and a DPhil in Computer Science. Dr. Anand is a prolific writer in his field and is a leading academic in data mining who lectures and leads a data mining research team at the University of Ulster. He is a prominent leading advocate at numerous data mining conferences around the world.
